Energo Alternative Energy Study

2008 MMS Project 627 - Inspection Methodologies for Offshore Wind Turbine Facilities

Energo Engineering participated in a 6-month study funded by MMS researching the development of preliminary guidelines for Integrity Management methodology for offshore wind turbine facilities operating in US waters.  The study provided guidance on frequency and methods of inspection.  The analysis addresses the platform structure, turbine tower, turbine and housing, and turbine blades located on offshore facilities.

Energo Reliability Study for MMS on Gulf of Mexico Platforms

MMS Study No. 609 - Reliability vs. Consequence for Failure for API RP 2A Fixed Platforms Using API Bulletin 2INT-MET

Energo recently completed a study for the MMS that compares the reliability of fixed GOM platforms using the new API 2MET metocean criteria for four regions compared to the prior API RP2A metocean criteria.  The results show similar reliability for 2MET and RP2A, although deck elevation is a critical factor.                       Download the full Energo report.
